October Income Goal
Wake up! (x3)
Its the first of the month!!! Well… it was yesterday.
I’ve been crazy busy with school, work, and listening to every single episode of the Smart Passive Income podcast with Pat Flynn that I haven’t given my blog any attention. I know I’ll have to put in a lot more work to get it to where I want to be and I won’t lie; those voices are back in my head telling me I need to give it up! My biggest challenge so far besides time has been choosing what to write about when I’m pretty sure no one will be reading my stuff this early in the game.
Goaaaaaaaals! (soccer style)
It would be foolish of me (or anyone) not to set some sort of goals for myself when I’m trying to free myself from broke (get rich or die trying). The purpose is to have something to look up to and strive for. If I didn’t set goals, I’d be selling myself short and I will never see the type of results I’d like to see. Even if I don’t come anywhere near my goal or even go way beyond it, Ill know where I stand so I can make the proper adjustment to help myself grow the next month.
My LONG TERM goal would be to get myself to a point where I’m fully self employed with a good amount of investments. This is what I currently have:
I am worth a whopping $26.03
My goal for my Nov 1st post is to be up $100. Nothing too crazy right? The several ways I make money online take time and require some dedication. I’m not one of those professional bloggers getting thousands of dollars passively… yet. $100 seems fair for the first month.
Slow grind with me!
Hold up! Before you start bringing out your R Kelly or Ginuwine cassettes ( Yeah I said cassettes) THAT IS NOT WHAT IM TAKING ABOUT! I’m speaking of grinding in terms of a hustlers mentality. Im starting off slow and I can admit that. I’m starting with the bare minimum besides the $26 I have. I know it can be intimidating looking at other bloggers buying domain names and web hosting with ease. If you are broke like me then let’s grind! We can do it as well, but in a different route.
Of course as time progresses, I will attempt to monetize my blog to see better pay outs via Adsense and affiliate marketing, but i need to get more established. The way I will make $100 dollars is with Swagbucks, AppTrailers, and Amazon Mechanical Turk. These methods pay, YES, but not a lot. I would not recommend that you quit your job to be a Swagbucks pro. Although I’m sure there are some who have put in the time and effort to make some decent pay. I like MTURK. I like to see the actual amount that I will be getting paid for completjng small tasks. Some people I’ve seen make a decent amount everyday, but I’m not at their level.
